Everlight provides the series of invisible LEDs which are Infrared LEDs. The series of Infrared LEDS includes IRM (Infrared Receiver Module), ITR/IR (Infrared transmitter and receiver), PD (Photo-Diode), PT (Photo-Transistor), Photo Coupler, Optical Sensor (Ambient Light Sensor and Color Sensors), Infrared Emitting-Diode, Photo-IC. These different types of LEDs are packaged in every kinds of packages (SMD, DIP, PLCC, Plastic Housing).
In common use of operation light wavelength range for most applications is from 700nm to 1000nm. Evelright’s Infrared LEDs provide customers the best quality, excellent rapid reaction, and variable package designs. For example, Everlight’s IRM is an optical infrared receiver with a PIN diode and preamplifier assembled in an infrared bandpass package. Another example is that Everlight optocouplers are offered in a variety of package platforms including 4-Pin SSOP, 4-Pin SOP, 4-Pin Dip, 6-Pin Dip, 8-Pin DIP.
Customers can choose suitable devices based on a combination of input functions (DC sensing, DC threshold sensing and AC sensing) and output functions (transistor, darlington, random-phase and zero-cross triac driver, Schmitt trigger and high speed). The demodulated output signal can be directly decoded by a signal microprocessor. Everlight IRM product series can fully support all major transmission frequency and transmission codes. The most common applications for infrared LEDs are in audio/video remote control, CCD camera, switch, temperature controls, air conditioners (HVAC), vending machines, lighting controls, battery chargers, and isolated power supplies.
